WHITE PONY INN
Welcome
WHITE PONY INN (WPI) strives to provide a ‘safety net’ for companions who, for various reasons, are experiencing health-related or personal challenges and need temporary support.
WPI services are delivered mainly by companions supporting companions, where they live. A Sponsor Circle meets weekly to provide coordination and oversite of services.
Examples of Support

Referrals to government services and application assistance

Transportation

Companionship and/or regular ‘check-ins’

Shopping

Short-term financial assistance

Other support based on need and circumstance

Meal Delivery
Residential Circles

WPI services are primarily provided through “Residential Circles” organized by apartment, condo, or residential location in near-by areas. Each Circle has a designated Point of Contact (POC), who oversees support and alerts other residents in the unit of companions’ needs.
A Sponsor Circle provides oversight of the WPI program, of the POCs and residential circles, and organizes care to those outside the circles and/or who are experiencing pronounced challenges requiring additional support.
